I came across an article today that immediately caught my eye, it was about a robot that could jump 30 feet! Yes 30 feet! That's an amazing feat, even for a robot. Let me introduce you to the Sand Flea, it is the metallic child of Boston Dynamics.

That's One Big Ass Telescope!
I'm sure most people have heard of the VLA (Very Large Array) in New Mexico, but what I recently read about will dwarf the world's largest telescope. This would be the SKA (Square Kilometer Array), and although construction hasn't even begun yet, it is promising to be the largest telescope array on the planet.
This massive project will be on the international scale, and will consist of 3000 dish antennas pointed towards the heavens. Each dish will be around 15 meters wide and the total size of the collecting area of all the equipment will equate to 1 square kilometer - a indisputable world record and massive achievement for the field of astronomy.
Quantum Interference Shown Experimentally In Larger Molecules
SciTechDaily - Particle-wave duality is one of the most mysterious facets of quantum
physics. It states that every quantum object has properties of both a
wave and a particle. This can be easily demonstrated using the
double-slit experiment. Streams of particles directed at a barrier,
facing the two narrow openings, create an interference pattern, as
though they are waves. Neither a pure wave nor particle description has
been able to successfully explain these experiments.
YouTube Pick Of The Day: Road Rage In Brazil - Woman Vs Bike
I came across this video while surfing YouTube, and I've seen other road rage videos before... but this one takes the cake. To call this road rage is clearly an understatement, if you've seen this video then you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't lean back, relax, and enjoy my YouTube pick of the day.

Assassin's Creed 3 - Coming Soon
Coming in October 2012, Assassin's Creed 3 promises to revamp the series featuring a new assassin in a new environment. This time the game moves to North America, and takes place during the American revolution. With Ezio out of the picture, a new assassin moves into the spot light. Connor is a half Native American, half British man fighting more so for himself and his own motives, than that of the American rebel forces. This game places a much different lead character in a much different world, and promises to bring new life to the franchise.
YouTube Pick Of The Day: Hilarious Crane Accident
Today's pick has to be a commercial.... one hopes it is anyway. If you've seen this than you know what I'm talking about and if you haven't then lean back, relax and enjoy my YouTube pick of the day.
Both Leftys & Rightys Will Love The Samsung Switch Grip Camcorder
Samsung is continually impressing me with the innovation of their products. This time I've fallen in love with the Samsung Switch Grip QF20. This bad boy is perfect for both rightys and leftys, records in 1080-i, and has built in WiFi. But if that's not good enough for you, how about the standard 20x optical and 40x digital zoom? And don't forget about the picture stabilization feature, and touch screen display!
So what's the downside? Aside from the current price point of $395, it's currently only available in South Korea. All in all this looks to be an outstanding product and I can't wait to get my hands on one. For more information on specs, prices and more, check out their website www.samsung.com

YouTube Pick Of The Day: Cat Jump Fail
Usually cats can jump like kangaroos, apparently this cat skipped that day of school. If you've seen this before then you know what I'm talking about and if you haven't see it then lean back, relax and enjoy my YouTube pick of the day.
Review: Mass Effect 3: 20 Days Later
March 6 2012, Mass Effect 3 was released... now 20 days later it's time to go over what we've learned about this game so far. Please note, I am diving into this game with no previous Mass Effect experience, so there will be no bias towards this game whatsoever, I will only share what I've learned, liked and disliked thus far. When I first popped the disc into console (PS3) and fired her up, I was blown away with the cinematic start up. This game is beautiful!
I usually don't gush over fancy graphics, but this time I had too. I thought I had purchased a sci-fi action movie and not a video game, that's how in depth the intro was! Then the movie stopped and the game began and I again was surprized. Because apparently the movie doesn't stop, the whole game looks and feels like a sci-fi action movie. The environments are beautifully rendered, and almost seamless. I had repeatedly had to stop myself from gazing into the background and focus on the action in front of me. At first I thought I had purchased a shooter game, I even said out loud "I thought this was supposed to be a RPG/Action/Strategy game, not just a shooter". I was almost disappointed, but all I had to do was give it a few minutes to realize that this game is all of the above.

Lytro Light Field Camera
I saw this product watching coverage of CES 2012, and immediately knew that I had to have one. Let me introduce you to the Lytro Light Field Camera. This sleek and small camera isn't anything like the camera I have at home, and maybe not like one you have used either. A conventional camera captures a single plane of light, the Lytro captures the entire field of light. So there is no need to focus, and you can actually 're-focus' the photo multiple times after the picture has already been taken.
YouTube Pick Of The Day: The Actual, Worlds Worst Firefighter
A short while back we did a YouTube pick of the day featuring what was at the time the 'worlds worst firefighter.' Well since that post we've received a few emails stating that we were mistaken, and that today's video actually features the worlds worst firefighter. So if you've seen this you may or may not agree, but if you haven't seen it you get to decide for yourself. So lean back, relax and enjoy my YouTube pick of the day.
New York To Beijing In Two Hours??
When was the first time you learned about maglev trains? Most of us were quite young, and upon learning about it my first question was 'why isn't this everywhere?'
Well a lot of factors came into play that I was just to young to understand, the biggest of all was money. It took money to design the system, it took money to build a working model, it also takes money to sell the idea to the rest of the world. But most of all a maglev system would be taking money from oil companies... after all if major transportation companies no longer needed airplanes, trains, trucks (etc) to run on expensive gasoline and diesel fuels, then oil companies would miss out on millions of dollars worth of fuel purchases.
We all know that one day, there will be no more oil so we might as well start building the infrastructure for maglev systems now. One company, ET3, has some ideas on how to maximize the maglev industry and their ideas for ETT (evacuated tube transport) show some serious promise.
Zenga Sport's Ecotech Solar Jacket
How many times have you been away from a power source and noticed your cell battery is almost dead? For me, this happens more often than I like, so when I heard of a jacket that can recharge your device on the go I was immediately interested.
Introducing the Ecotech Solar Jacket by Zenga Sport. This stylish sport coat not only is made in part from recycled materials, but it also has solar collector panels sewn into the fabric; making you a mobile power station. The solar panels do detach though, so planning on going out at night won't make you look weird and also makes washing the coat do-able. The coat also houses a interesting feature for those in colder climates, a heating device inside the jacket helps to keep you toasty and warm even when the temperature drops.
Minecraft Arrives On The Xbox 360 In May
Do you enjoy Minecraft? Have you ever wished you could play it on your console instead of computer?? Well Xbox users are in for a treat. As early as May 9 2012 the building block game will make its debut on the Microsoft console. It'll cost you $20 (or 1600 Microsoft points) to download, and is sure to get gamers up from the computer, and down on the couch.

"Power Felt" Charges Your Cellphone Using Your Body Heat
By Lori Zimmer, 02/24/12 - No need to stay tethered to an electrical outlet or worry about your
cellphone running out of juice; charging your smart device could soon
require no more than a quick jog on the spot, according to Wake Forest University
scientists, who have developed a thermoelectric device that converts
body heat into an electrical current. Dubbed “Power Felt,” the
technology uses temperature differences—that of the room versus your body, say—to create a charge. The best part? A cellphone cover could cost as little as a buck.
O.R.B. Wireless Bluetooth Ring
I originally saw this product almost a year ago, and at the time it blew my mind. I mean real wearable tech that looks slick and would have real world applicable uses... this would be great. I immediately tracked down the company Hybra looking to purchase one, and to my dismay this awesome product was not yet ready for sale.
So what does a geek do? Sign up online to receive updates on the product of course! The only problem is, this company doesn't seem to care about people interested in the O.R.B. ... The section to sign up for updated info on the product doesn't actually do what it is supposed to do, instead I was signed up for info on another product from Hybra Tech... some bone induction headphones... which sounds cool, but it's not what I want. So I called the company, and after waiting on hold for what felt like an hour I was told to sign up on the website and I would be kept in the loop about the O.R.B. ring and then was disconnected.....
YouTube Pick Of The Day: Little Girl Joins The Darkside
This video went viral about a year ago and is one of my all time favorites. Today my pick is the extended version , only a few minutes longer and has to be one of the funniest/cutest things I have ever seen. If you have seen the video then you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't lean back, relax, and enjoy my YouTube pick of the day.

YouTube Pick Of The Day: Worlds Worst Firefighter
This was a new one for me, and although I have a lot of respect for firefighters, this one in particular maybe should have spent a little more time in training. If you've seen it, then you know what I'm talking about, and if not lean back, relax and enjoy my YouTube pick of the day.
Beauty & The Geek: Keyboard Pants
Geeks of the world rejoice! There is some new wearable tech out there and it's certainly a little different than you'd expect. These are the Beauty & The Geek keyboard pants. That's right... keyboard pants. They may look a little weird at first, but what they lack in design they make up for in functionality; These jeans come fully equipped with a wireless keyboard, mouse and speakers!
The keyboard was designed to be comfortable to use while sitting down, however the placement of the keyboard is a little 'iffy' ... as long as you don't mind typing on your crotch in public you shouldn't mind to much. These concept pants are currently not available for purchase, however once available you can bet I will be buying at least 1 pair. For more information on the keyboard pants, and some other sweet tech check out the website here. Additional pictures available below.
Seagate Demonstrates HAMR Hard Drive Tech That Promises 60 TB HDDs
By Darren Quick - Despite solid state drives
increasing in capacity in recent years, the humble platter-based
3.5-inch hard drive still reigns supreme as the data storage device to
beat in terms of bits for your buck. But if traditional drives are going
to meet user’s ever-increasing data storage demands they will need to
improve on the maximum 620 gigabits per square inch storage densities
currently possible in platter based 3.5-inch drives. That’s just what
Seagate has demonstrated with new technology that has achieved a
milestone storage density of 1 terabit per square inch.
From the advent of hard drives in 1956, the magnetic surface of the
hard drive platters was divided in sub-micrometer-sized regions called
magnetic domains that were oriented horizontally and parallel to the
disk surface in what was called longitudinal recording. But around
2005/2006, Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) was introduced, which
changed the orientation to perpendicular to allow for closer magnetic
domain spacing and increase data storage capacity.
Man Skydives From 13 Miles Above Earth
Brass balls, that was my first thought when learning about Felix Baumgartner. He is a daredevil of sorts, and looking to set a world record, except this jump wasn't the record breaking attempt.... this was just practice. That's right apparently riding in a pressurized capsule up to just over 13 miles above the pavement, and then leaping out for a 8 minute free fall is just his way of practicing for the big event.
During his freefall Felix reached a maximum speed of 364.4 mph. You'd think falling at this incredible speed would be enough for most thrill seekers, however Felix isn't done yet. He's hoping to break a world record later this year by launching himself from a altitude of 120,000 feet, nearly double that of his first jump. This "spacedive" (you have to call it that at this altitude, mainly because there's no sky at this height) will be the final jump, with one more 'practice run' at 90,000 feet before making the big jump.

YouTube Pick Of The Day: Never Wake A Sleeping Ninja Cow!
Today's pick shows us why it's dangerous to wake a sleeping ninja cow. This beefy betty had just given birth to a calf and was enjoying a little R & R after the labor... that is until some mean lady decided to wake her up. If you've seen this video, then you already know not to wake a sleeping cow, but if you haven't.. lean back, relax and enjoy my YouTube pick of the day.
SpaceX's Dragon Space Capsule Seats 7
Take those old ideas of space capsules being small and cramped and throw them away. SpaceX has revealed a prototype for the new cabin design, and this new one can house up to 7 astronauts, the same number the former shuttles could hold. This will not only optimize the usable space within the capsule, but also reduce the overall weight of the structure needed to house the crew, leaving more weight for cargo and fuel.
While testing and assessments are still underway, this newly designed space capsule is sure to impress astronauts and engineers alike. For more information on SpaceX and the Dragon spacecraft be sure to visit www.spacex.com
NEC Concept Of LED Ceiling Light With Integrated Speakers
Now this is a new idea, integrating a wireless speaker into a light fixture. So if you've ever wanted to control not only your lighting, but also your music with the use of your Android smart phone, then this may be the product for you.
The good people at NEC Lighting are currently perfecting this new tech and are hoping to get this bad ass light fixture ready for sale by the end of the year, until it is available I'll keep rocking my old school ghetto blaster and dimmer switch.

YouTube Pick Of The Day: The Shii
You've heard of the Wii, but have you heard of the Shii? This video is again a little older, but hey they don't make them like they used to right? Anywho if you've seen this video then you know how funny it is. And if you haven't then lean back, relax, and enjoy my YouTube pick of the day.
Follow Up On The Free Energy Charger By Johan (Video)
After posting the article regarding Johan's free energy charger I was innundated with emails, a lot of the emails didn't believe the article and demanded proof. Typically I leave providing the hard facts up to the inventors themselves however I was so intrigued by this invention that I had to do a little research.
The following videos posted by the inventor show how the circuit works, and to my shock and disbelief also showed the unit recharging... this is incredible and here's hoping this replaces gasoline and oil in the near future!!
Check out the 4 videos below to see Johan's free energy charger in action.
Johan Open Sourcing His Solid State Free Energy Charger
By Sterling
D. Allan - Pure Energy Systems News: In November of 2009 we published a story
with description:
"A South African experimenter has modified an electrolysis circuit developed by Bob Boyce so that now it recharges his daughter's electric vehicle riding toy. What makes this remarkable is that the energy is not drawn from the wall but from the environment somehow. He's done this around 35 times now and knows of three replications of the same effect by others."
Back then, he was going by his YouTube username: watkykjy1; but now he's okay with letting his name and intentions be known.
Johan wants to open source a version of this technology that doesn't impinge on Bob Boyce's circuit.
Johan had obtained one of Bob's hex controllers for electrolysis. But Johan got the idea of using it instead to recharge a battery, and it worked, with some modifications and programming. Here's a photo he sent me of his present set up:

Naval Research Laboratory Designs Robot For Shipboard Firefighting
If you like robots, then you perhaps you already know about or may have heard about SAFFiR. This futuristic looking design is actually a shipboard firefighter... at least it will be.The robot SAFFiR (Shipboard Autonomous Firefighting Robot) was chosen to have humanoid features because it was deemed best suited to operate within the confining and often narrow environments on board naval vessels.
This bad ass 'fire-terminator' if you will, will come equipped with enhanced multi-modal sensor technology for advanced navigation. A sensor suite that includes a camera, gas detector, and stereo IR camera to see through smoke. The upper body will be able to operate fire suppression equipment and throwing propelled extinguishing agent technology (PEAT) grenades.
While this is still in the development stages, the NRL working hard on getting this into production and is planning on testing the robot on board the the USS Shadwell in September of 2013. So the next time you're on board a boat and hear something say 'come with me if you want to live' ... it might not be Arnie, but may still save your life. Check out the NRL website for more information.

Dyson DC39: The Latest In Awsome Dyson Products
![]() |
Who doesn't love Dyson products? I know I do, and I also love how the company continually improves on their already amazing products. This time around Dyson is launching the DC39, and although this sounds like an airplane this is actually the most compact and efficient canister vacuum on the market. I won't go into too much detail with all of the improvements, but I will mention that condensing Dyson's Ball vacuum into this teeny tiny canister vac took 70 engineers and almost 3 years.
![]() |
| Cutaway View OF The DC39 |
But the wait and the work was certainly worth it, as this is not only a compact and powerful unit, it is also damn sexy tech! The only thing I dislike about the product is the price tag, at $449 this is slightly out of my price range. So here's hoping that the price drops a bit in the near future, and you can pick up your own Dyson DC39 in select retail locations and of course on their website www.dyson.com
Here's How To Use Android Phone As A Playstation 3 Keyboard & Mouse
By Oliver Haslam - Filed firmly in the ‘cool but probably pointless’ category, AndroidSpin brings us news that one clever XDA-Developer member has managed to find a way to turn your Android device into a wireless mouse for your PlayStation 3.
Called BlueputDroid, the software will only work on a rooted device to act as a keyboard or mouse for both PC and PS3.
Currently in beta form, BlueputDroid is available for download on AppBrain should you wish to give the mousey goodness a whirl.

See if you can count how many times he says 'practice' during this interview.

Apple's Ipad Mini - Just One More Way To Waste Money
Shortly after the release of Apple's 'New Ipad', the suppliers have started delivering samples of the new 'Ipad Mini". This micro-tablet has a 7.85 inch display and in an attempt to remain the "top dog" of electronics, is designed to be a direct competitor for similar products released by Amazon and Samsung.
This to me is just another money grab by Apple, just like the release of 'The New Ipad' and the Iphone 4S was. Apple is really good at making 1 or 2 minor improvements on an existing product, then repackaging and renaming a product and selling it for $100-$200 more (depending on place of purchase of course).
The release date for this tablet is slated for the 3rd quarter of 2012, and in my opinion I would not purchase this Ipad Mini... after all there's bound to be a 'New Ipad Mini' 2-3 months later, I'll spend my money on an Android
Xbox 720: Latest Rumors & Expected Release Date
For Xbox lovers, the new console can't be released soon enough. And while details of the new gaming console are extremely hard to come by there have been a few leaks suggesting that the newest Xbox will be unique to the Microsoft corporation. This time around, there will be no disc drive. That's right, the scuttlebutt is that all games for the new console will be downloadable and the console will have interchangeable solid state drives.
YouTube Pick Of The Day: Goat On A Rope
This is an oldie but a goodie. I originally saw this video with my roommate while watching Attack Of The Show about 4-5 years back, and when we saw this... It blew our minds! I know the video starts a little slow, but it quickly gets very interesting and will certainly amaze and impress you.
So if you have seen this video, then you already know how awesome this is, and if you haven't... lean back, relax and enjoy my YouTube pick of the day.

YouTube Pick Of The Day: TV Reporter Goes Ghetto In 3 Seconds
This is a classic video!! I'm sure most of you have seen this at least once, but this video is one of my all time favorites. In my office you can tell when a employee is having a hard day when you hear this coming from their office... this video is the perfect stress reliever, you can't help but laugh.
So if you have seen this before, you know that it's a classic. And if you haven't seen this yet, lean back, relax and enjoy my YouTube pick of the day
Cyberdyne: The Future Of Robotics...Today
If you have seen any of the Terminator movies, you've probably heard the name Cyberdyne at least once or twice. And to my shock, today I learned that Cyberdyne is not just a fictional company name, it turns out this is a real company based out of Japan. And guess what they specialize in ... yup that's right, robotics.
After a whole 30 seconds browsing their website, I came across this beauty. This is the Robot Suit HAL. When I first laid eyes on this my heart skipped a beat... this was eerily similar to the powerloader from that Alien movie from years ago, or the 'mech suits' from video games, except this was real.
The Robot Suit HAL is designed to expand and improve on the physical capabilities of the wearer. Using a internal battery drive and weighing only 23kg, this suit can transform a ordinary person into a Robotic Mech!
Robo-Glove: NASA & GM Aim To Make Zero G Work A Little Lighter
NASA and GM are currently working on a tool for astronauts which should make working in space a little easier. Meet the K-glove AKA the Robo-glove. This wearable tool is designed to minimize the physical force required to operate machinery in space. By use of pressure sensors, synthetic tendons and a power supply similar to those of cordless drills, astronauts can exert less force while working, which in turn means they can complete more work before getting tired.
The idea is pretty neat, however I think there's a lot that can be improved upon. For more details about the Robo-glove, check out this page on GM's website.

Laser Hacked Plasma Cutter From Dead Space 2
I love lasers, but honestly who doesn't? So when I came across this video from one of my favorite YouTube channels I was immediately amazed and impressed at the same time. Like most people, the routine of day to day life took over and although I favorited the video, I had forgotten about my intention to attempt to replicate this amazing feat.
Although my schedule has not helped me find the time to replicate this feat yet, (and yes yet is underlined because I simply must try this in the near future) I decided I should at the very least post this video to share with others, what all the hype has been about.
So without further ado, here is the video from Kipkay, and if you do manage to recreate this, please let me know how it turned out as I am anxious to try it myself.
Mass Effect 3: The Wait Is Over But It Was Worth It
Mass Effect 3 is finally available in store, and although the wait was long for some gamers.... it was certainly worth it. The first reviews are out and everyone I have spoken to loves this game! This has been classified as a Action / RPG and boasts some impressive visuals.
Mass Effect 3 has a indepth and addictive storyline, combined with intense action and some creative character customization options. If you have never played a Mass Effect game, that's okay, this game is really easy to jump into and the learning curve isn't to steep at all. If you love action, If you love RPG, then you should AT LEAST, check out this game.Check out the trailer below.

Google Glasses With Virtual & Augmented Reality
By Craig Garcia - In the near future you will be able to view the world as if you were looking through a computer monitor. Google is planning to release this wearable computer which will (with a 4G cell connection) pull information about the surrounding area and display it on the lenses for the wearer to view.
Apparently it will use Google Goggles and as you turn your head, will provide information on your surroundings and nearby objects. Additionally the glasses are supposed to also provide information on buildings and establishments from Google Maps, as well as check in locations from friends nearby using Latitude.
All in all this sounds fairly impressive, although one can only wonder how long a product like this will be available without annoying ads popping up in front of you as you view the world. While some may tolerate the ads, if/when they start invading your daily life, I will certainly not purchase a product that does such a thing.
While no official release date has been set yet, the scuttlebutt is that these should be available for purchase by years' end. Here's hoping that no ads will ever be displayed, and hey Google, if you need someone to field test these bad boys... let me know!

Nintendo Wii U: It's Coming Soon & Looks Awesome
Nintendo...THE entrance platform for almost all gamers. Ask anyone born in the 80's and they'll most likely be able to list of at least a dozen games they fell in love with as a child. Since the debut of the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) there have been a few more consoles released by Nintendo, I'm sure you can name a few yourself, but when the Wii hit the market it was something completely original and new.
Now I loved the Wii when it came out, I was even one of 'those people' lined up outside of BestBuy waiting to buy one of the first Wii consoles in my city! However the types of games released for system were geared towards younger children and casual adult gamers, and while it held our attention for a time it wasn't enough to retain avid gamers attention spans. I believe it was due to this type-casting of 'kiddie games' along with lower resolution graphics that saw sales slow dramatically and the Wii craze fade. However Nintendo isn't going out without a fight, coming soon this year Nintendo will be releasing the "Nintendo Wii U".

Cheetah Robot Breaks Land Speed Record
A remarkable moment in robotics has been achieved, the robot known as Cheetah has set a land speed record for legged machines by racing up to 18mph on a treadmill. This is quite an accomplishment, and the developers at Boston Dynamics are hoping for even greater achievements for Cheetah in the future.
The DARPA funded program is looking to take Cheetah out of the lab and into the field to better understand the limits of fast moving robots.

James Bond Eat Your Heart Out: Mercedes Creates Invisible Car
Mercedes Benz has created what has to be one of the cooliest cars yet. This was created primarily to advertise the new F Cell Hydrogen Technology. How it works is there is a camera on one side of the car, and LED displays on the other, basically the camera is just displaying what is sees, just on the other side of the car, rendering it 'invisible'. Okay maybe not completely invisible but it's close, and it's pretty damn cool. Check out the video below and see it for yourself.
Halo 4: A First Look
Halo 4 is currently in development and slated to be released sometime during the holiday season of 2012. While this is a long ways off still, 343 Industries has been kind enough to release the video trailer below. This game looks be an improvement upon the 3 previous games, and of course features 'Master Chief' as the hero.
Check out the video below, and here's hoping 343 Industries wants to release the game for Summer 2012 instead.

"The Website Is Down" - My Youtube Pick Of The Day
I'm sure many of you have already seen this video, but this was new to me. Working in tech support can be a extremely frustrating job, especially when people call in reporting problems and requesting fixes that they don't actually need or want.
This made my day a little less frustrating, so for those that haven't seen this lean back, relax and enjoy my Youtube pick of the day !
Hail The All Conquering Dyson!!
By Craig Garcia- I love Dyson products! I do, I can't help but love the innovation, creativity and all around coolness of almost every one of their products. I first noticed Dyson when they introduced their vacuum 'Dyson Ball'. This was a creative approach to a vacuum and really drew my eye to the company. Since then I have fallen in love with a few products and sadly was only able to field test them in store, and in a few select locations.
My favorite Dyson product has to be the 'Air Multiplier' , this fan not only employs some cutting edge tech but it's damn sexy!! Awhile back I was lucky enough to play with an in store demo, and if you'll excuse the pun, I was blown away. This bladeless fan was able to hit me with a steady, cool breeze from 15 feet away without any choppyness or 'buffeting' if you will, and to top it all off there was almost no noise! This was the deal maker for me, a quiet, powerful sexy fan was exactly what the doctor ordered and Dyson certainly delivered.

The 7ron (Kisai Seven) Watch - An Amazing Concept, But A Mediocre Reality
When I first saw the concept drawings of this watch I was blown away, my first thought was "That's so cool, I must have that watch!" What I'm referring to is the Tron Legacy LED concept watch... and with most concept images the product looks absolutely beautiful. But for me anyway, my excitement ended with the concept.
The "Tron Watch" was chosen from a competition featuring many interesting pieces, and is now in full production and available for purchase at toykoflash.com... the only catch is, it is not exactly as shown. The conceptual images show a sleek smooth looking time piece, that would make owners proud and others jealous. As is most cases, the actual watch appears to be a little different from the original designs. The 'Kisai Seven' watch (as it is now called) seems to have a bulky squarish look to it and now seems to resemble more like a novelty gift than a unique sexy watch.

I thought It was Old For 'New Tech', But Still Sexy
I came across this video one night. I was originally thinking that I was that was seeing some cutting edge tech, but to my surprise this was already 2 years old from CES 2010! Regardless of it's age, this was brand new to me and think it's amazing! This is the transparent laptop lcd display from Samsung.
Will Gasoline Soon Be A Thing Of The Past?
Do you dread heading to the gas station? Are you like me and ride the needle on the gas gauge, waaaaay past the empty line? If so then you're in for some good news, gasoline may soon become a thing of the past. How so you ask? Well thanks to our friends at Tata Motors and Luxembourg based MDI, filling up your car may cost as little as $2 thanks to their MiniCAT air powered car.
Yes you read that right, air powered car! I had seen concepts online, and a few working models in Europe on youtube, however this is the first news I had heard of this becoming a production model. When released, this will be the undisputed cleanest vehicle on the planet, using compressed air to power its internal motor the MiniCAT expels zero emissions.
