Android 4.1 - Code Named Jelly Bean

By Craig Garcia - Icecream sandwich is a remarkable upgrade over the previous versions of Android operating systems, and for quite awhile there have been rumors of an even better upgrade down the road. Keeping true to the operating systems named after foods, the newest installment is codenamed Jelly Bean, and until recently this has been a rumor among Android users.

In the photo above supplied by Engadget, we see that Jelly Bean will included with new handsets and released in the near future. The new Galaxy Nexus HSPA will be among the first to receive the new OS. As for when and which other handsets will receive the upgrade, that information is still unknown, but for the time being anyway I am happy knowing that the next installment of awesome Android operating systems is just around the corner.
