Gtech Universe - Some of the greatest and most amazing feats in electronics and robotics have come from the island of Japan, and this product is no exception! This is a 4.5 ton, 13 foot tall mech.... and it's one bad mamma jamma.
Meet the Kuratas, a personal mech developed by Suidobashi Heavy Industry. These bad boys not only look like the armored mech's you've seen in video games ... they are them. The product of artist Kogoro Kurata, these massive multi ton mechanical monsters are a frightening glimpse into the future of robotics and possibly warfare.
While the weapon systems on board the Kuratas are simply for show, it would be easy enough for a maniacal government to replace these with real weapons. But either way, used as art or attack mechs you have to admit these are pretty bad ass. To see these bad boys in action check out the videos below.
