By Craig Garcia - Back in March I was reading one of my favorite subscriptions and came across an article featuring floating wind turbines designed to produce more electricity than conventional turbines, mainly because this one floats way up in the sky where winds are much stronger than they are closer to the ground.
The prototype was conceived and constructed by Altaeros Energies, and while this is currently in the development stage, it shows a lot of promise on many fronts. Check out the video below supplied by Gizmag and see this turbine in action.
